These Ringwraiths, or Nazgul, were at one point Kings of Men, and were given magical rings from Sauron. Their rings gave them endless life but they slowly became enslaved to Sauron's will. Their bodies have faded away and all that is left of them now is their hollow and malicioius spirits.
Led by their leader, the Witch-King of Angmar, these fell creatures are known as The Nine and are the most lethal and feared of all Sauron's warriors.
